Rule 8: Anonymous Posts

Our group does not allow anonymous posts. We will also deny all posts made with nicknames. All comments we see that are made with nicknames will be deleted.

This rule is here to help keep things open, respectful, and honest. We want everyone to feel like they’re talking to real people, not hidden profiles.

However, if you would like to post something anonymously, you may reach out to the admin team here: https://emcc.me/chat

We can post on your behalf.  This allows for legitimate anonymous posts, without the abuses common to them.

We will post on your behalf for sensitive topics, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Medical conditions
  • Job or career concerns
  • Financial struggles
  • Family issues

However, we do not allow anonymous posts for reasons such as:

  • Avoiding direct messages (please report unwanted DMs instead)
  • Simply not wanting to post under your name
  • Assuming anonymity is allowed because someone else was permitted to post anonymously

If you submit something to be posted on your behalf and the reason isn’t immediately clear, we may ask for clarification. If we determine that anonymity is appropriate, we will post it for you. Please reserve this for situations where it is truly necessary.
